I been there a couple times! I will say they are better than the other hospitals at least for me. To those who seem to give bad reviews you need to learn how to be patiently waiting. You don't know know whats going there in the back. Your best to receive an amazing service is wait patiently and smile :). I always get good service at least for me. Have a wonderful day everyone!

I don't understand how they keep advertising top 100 hospital. The service is poor. The facility is dirty and old. Bed on the maternity section are old, ripped and have a funky smell. ER service takes for ever lucky if you get helped in 2 hours. You arrive super sick and their diagnostic you are either faking it, nothing is wrong, all you get is Tylenol. Dont waste your time here. GO to another hospital.

Waiting to get labs drawn, two receptionist no one else in the lobby. was asked to take a number I've been waiting for 15 mins. This is the second time this has happened first time I'm writing it.

Worst experience in a hospital ever. Don't bother calling for payments they will probably get back to you in a couple weeks. And they could do better getting BETTER EMPLOYEEEEEESS!!!! Who are not rude and ignorant.

My father-in-law was brought in to the ED from complications of pneumonia (unknown at that time). He was in extreme pain with every breath it took and he was crying out from it. The ED nurse that was taking care of him, told him curtly to "shut up you're being loud." First of all, where is the professionalism? Would you ever say that to a customer? I wouldn't. Second, where is the compassion? Nurses should be taking care of their patients physical and psychosocial needs. For him to tell him to "shut up" because he was crying out from pain is outright demeaning. Nurses should be assessing the problem and figuring out to fix it. NOT telling them to shut up. If he did not have compassion, why not have some empathy? How would that nurse feel if he was in pain with every breath he took? Probably the same way as my father in law, but people tend to forget to see how it's like in other peoples shoes. We are never going to this hospital ever again, and the only reason we did this time was because it was the closest ER around. Next time, we'll drive the extra 10 minutes to a Sharp or Kaiser, but never again at Paradise Valley.
